[Basic Edition] Operating Principle of Shaft Motors

Efficiently and effectively utilize the magnetic flux of the magnet at 360 degrees! It is a highly efficient and rigid linear motor.

Inside the shaft, there is a structure where magnets are joined with N poles facing each other and S poles facing each other, generating strong magnetic field lines from the junction. When current flows through the coil surrounding this shaft, a magnetic field is generated, and thrust is produced according to Fleming's left-hand rule. This thrust causes the coil (slider) to move if the shaft is fixed, and if the slider is fixed, the shaft operates. Additionally, unlike conventional linear motors, this design effectively utilizes the magnetic flux of the magnets without waste in a 360-degree manner, not only generating significant thrust with high efficiency but also maintaining a constant thrust regardless of any eccentricity in the shaft, resulting in a linear motor with high rigidity.

[Functional Edition] Functional Use of Shaft Motors: "Multi-Drive"

Optimal for effective use of installation space! The shaft motor "Multi Drive" allows simultaneous execution of multiple jobs, improving space efficiency.

The shaft motor can accommodate multiple movable elements (movable sliders with built-in coils) along a single axis. This is a multi-drive system for the sliders. As long as there is space, any number can be arranged. By connecting each slider to its respective driver, it is possible to control each slider with its own operation. [Usage Examples] ■ Attach to each slider of a camera to simultaneously position the workpiece at multiple locations. ■ Equip each slider with a nozzle laser to advance laser processing for simultaneous machining. ■ Utilize the serial drive of each slider for inter-process transfer.
